How do I manage roles for my Facebook Page?

You’ll need to be an admin to manage roles for your Facebook Page. Learn how to see what your role is.
There’s no limit to the number of people who can have a role on a Page. Learn more below about what each Page role can do.

How do I Give Someone a Role to Manage Facebook Page?

If you’re an admin:
Click Settings at the top of your Page.
Click Page Roles in the left column.
Type a name or email in the box and select the person from the list that appears.
Click Editor to select a role from the dropdown menu.
Click Add and enter your password to confirm.
Keep in mind that if you’re not friends with the person you’re adding, they’ll have to accept your invite before they can start helping you manage your Page.

How do I Remove Someone Who Has a Role to Manage Page?

If you’re an admin:
Click Settings at the top of your Page.
Click Page Roles in the left column.
Click Edit next to the person you want to remove, and then click Remove.
Click Confirm. You may need to enter your password.
You can always remove yourself from a Page, but if you’re the Page’s only admin, you’ll need to add another admin first.

How do I Change Someone’s Role who has access to Manage Page?

If you’re an admin:
Click Settings at the top of your Page.
Click Page Roles in the left column.
Click Edit next to the name of the person whose role you want to change and then select a new role from the dropdown menu.
Click Save. You may need to enter your password to confirm.
Note: If you’re a new admin, keep in mind that you may need to wait 7 days before you can remove or demote another admin.

How do I see what my role is on a Facebook Page?

Your role determines what you can do on a Page. To see your role:
Click Settings at the top of your Page.
Click Page Roles in the left column.
From here, you can see your role listed below your name.

How do I accept a role to Manage Facebook Page if I’m not friends with the admin?

If you’re not friends with the admin who sent you an invitation for a Page role, you’ll need to accept the invitation before you can begin your role.
After you’ve been invited to a role on a Page, you’ll receive either a notification or an email.
To accept an invitation for a role on a Page, you can either:
*Click the notification and then click Accept.
*Click Confirm in the email.
